We counted 18 different types of birds, not counting the terns and seagulls. (Why is it that the "common" birds become boring?)

Oystercatcher - you can barely see it, but this bird has orange around the eye too. Very striking bird.

Eider with 16 babies in tow. They probably aren't all hers, these birds group together for protection.
Tern - taking a break from the food hunt.
These pictures are lovely! Great shots... specially the baby catching fish and the other riding on his mom's back...lol!
